Certification

Certification is the procedure involving the confirmation of production activity result, product or service to regulations whereby the third party (independent of the producer (seller) and the consumer) certifies documentary that production, work (process) or service concerned conform to the established requirements.
The draft of document “Concerning Approval of Joint List of Products Subject to Compulsory Certification and Joint List of Products Compliance of which shall be Confirmed through Accepting Declaration of Compliance".


The present document was prepared by Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology in accordance with paragraph 3 of the Enactment of the Government of the Russian Federation as of December 1, 2009 No 982.

ALL-RUSSIAN CLASSIFICATION OF PRODUCTS (OKP Code). ОК 005-93. Official Edition.
All-Russian classification of products (hereafter – OKP Code) is a part of Unified System of Classification and Codification of Technical and Economic and Social Information of the Russian Federation.
OKP Code war worked out and put into effect in the territory of the Russian Federation instead of Al-Union Classification of Industrial and Agricultural Products.
PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVE OF CLASSIFICATION
From a perspective of state interests such an instrument like classification shall on the one hand ensure improvement in quality of products and services and guarantee their consumer safety and on the other hand shall not interfere with business development through procedural and financial complication of procedure for certificate.

“Concerning procedure for maintaining unified register of certificates of conformity, providing information from the above-noted register and payment for providing this information”.
